About Me

My name is Alex and I live in Rochester, NY. Although I lived here most of my life, I was born in Ukraine and immigrated here as a child. My childhood started out well, but later I developed a mental illness that I struggle with to this day. I was a talented student early on, but as the illness progressed, it took that away. After multiple hospitalizations I discovered a medication that transformed my life. I was able to graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology in 2011 and start a career that took me to Texas. There I lived on my own and traveled around the world as part of my job responsibilities. Met a great group of church friends that played a very important part in my life there.

After Texas I returned back to Rochester and found another place of employment. Today I am unemployed.

Read all about it here in my autobiography.
